Welcome to the Gite "Le Cellier de Beaulieu" located at the foot of the ramparts of the medieval city of Carcassonne. From its terrace, garden and Jacuzzi, you can enjoy an unforgettable view at any time of the day... This house, built in 1692, combines authenticity with modern comfort. It is located in one of the most picturesque areas of Carcassonne, 5 minutes' walk from the Porte de l'Aude, which gives you access to the Cité. Less than 500m away, you'll find a number of shops (chemist, grocery shop, tobacconist, bread store) and numerous activities in the Cité or nearby, accessible on foot or by car, as well as excellent restaurants where you can discover the region's culinary specialities. There is also a golf course nearby, one of the most famous in France with 18 holes.

The entrance to the house is on the ground floor, with the corridor leading to the stairway that leads to the living rooms, the laundry room and on to the garden. On the first floor, the landing opens onto a large lounge with a French ceiling and period furniture, comfortable sofas and armchairs, a study area, not forgetting the television, hi-fi system and DVD player. The dining room and fitted kitchen on the garden side open onto a terrace facing the Cité, from which a staircase leads down to the garden. The bedrooms are accessed from the landing. On the garden side, the first bedroom has a double bed (160/200) and a shower room with two basins. On the street side, a second bedroom with a double bed (160/200) and a third bedroom with a double bed (140/190). These two bedrooms also have a study area. The outbuilding at the bottom of the garden: a small, fully-equipped house with a living room on the ground floor, a sitting room with television and a large DVD collection, a small fully-equipped kitchen and a dining area. A wooden staircase leads to the bedroom, furnished with a double bed (140/190) and a single bed (90/190), and its shower room with WC. Cot and high chair available on request.

WIFI connection, bed linen, towels, bathrobes and end-of-stay cleaning are all included. Breakfast is included (fresh, crisp pastries are delivered by the baker every morning), so you can get your day off to a great start! The house has a garage for one car, which opens onto the street, and we also provide a parking card that allows you to park in the Ile car park, 300m from the house.
