Finca Hornillo with private pool

At only 4 km to the white village Cómpeta. The whole way to Finca Hornillo is over a tarmac road. The last 100 m to the finca are quite steep, but you can drive there without problems with a normal car. In Cómpeta you find several small supermarkets, bakers, fruit and vegetable store, restaurants, bars, pharmacies, Internet café, souvenir shops, medical center, dentist, tourist information and much more.

Outside the absolutely private pool with sun terrace and barbecue area. An ideal place to relax and enjoy the fantastic views to the mountains of the Axarquia and the Mediterranean Sea.

In the bright and friendly Finca Hornillo you find space for 6 people. The cozy living room is equipped with 2 sofas, satellite Tv, fireplace and dining area. The fully equipped open kitchen is separated by a rustic wooden bar from the living room. Furthermore, the Finca offers 3 bedrooms, one with double bed and the other two with 2 single beds and 2 bathrooms with shower.

    “Ein Haus nehem wir weg, da ist aber der Grund einfach die Hitze, gegen die die vorhandenen Ventilatoren nicht angekommen sind. Was uns einige schwitzige Nächte beschert hat. Nach Information der Agentur wird aber vermutlich im Winter in den Schlafzimmern nachgerüstet.
    Ein kleines Minus war auch ein Bett, mit quietschendem Metallfedern, die den Bettnachbarn bei jedem Drehen mit aufgeweckt haben.
    Ansonsten gibt es an der Ausstattung nichts zu meckern, alles da, was man zum kochen, putzen, für die Schmutz-Wäsche usw. braucht.
    Pool sauber und ausreichend groß, um herumzuplantschen. Bahnen schwimmen aber natürlich negativ.
    Die Lager und Aussicht genial, Lärm durch Flugzeuge oder in der Nachbarschaft bellende Hunde, sonst absolut ruhig.
    Die Anfahrt ist von der Hauptstraße etwa 3km und wie in der Beschreibung angegeben das letzte Stück steil. Aber im ersten Gang sollte jeder gut runter und hoch kommen, Mutige, die auf die Bremsen Ihres Leihwagens vertrauen, auch schneller.
    Wir hatten eine Ford C-Max, schlecht motorisiert, der sich hoch extrem schwer tat.
    Zur An- und Abfahrt, schließt auf jeden Fall unbefestigte Straßen bei der Routenfindung aus. Nach Torrox hat uns unser Navi die "schnellere", weil mehrere Kilometer kürzere, Strecke ins Tal runter (gind noch) und dann auf der anderen Seite hoch. Das ging mit unserer Schüssel gar nicht gut. Ausgewaschener Feldweg am Anfang, dann Steilstücke unbefestigt, übergehend in zementierte noch steilere Strechenabschnitte. Ich habe meine drei Damen aus dem Auto gelassen, die mussten zu Fuss das schlimmste Stück, den mit dem Ford war das Ralley extrem mit der permanenten Gefahr, Rückwärts ins Tal zu rauschen. Nur mit Allrad oder hoch gelagerten Autos zu empfehlen.
    Und andere "Abkürzungen, die das Navi findet, enden teilweise in kaum begehbaren Wegen.
    Zu Fuss kann man von der Finca wunderschöne 2-3 Stunden wandern, habe ich fast jeden Morgen gemacht und von unterwegs den malerischen Sonnenaufgang über der Sierra bewundert.”

    “Fantastiskt läge, privat med underbar utsikt.
    Saknade en del köksutrustning. Sängarna stenhårda, vilket de ofta är i Spanien eftersom de saknar bäddmadrass.
    Vägen dit är delvis väldigt smal och väldigt brant.
    Väl där var det helt fantastiskt med poolen och lugnet.
    Väldigt bra information och bemötande av värden från agenturen. Svarade snabbt på meddelande.”
