The house is beautifully furnished and is located in an area that is suitable for a vacation all year round. On the beautiful and open terrace you can relax with a cup of coffee or a good dinner. The house is located in a historic area with old quarries and rich flora and fauna.

On nice summer days you can pack swimwear and take the five-minute walk to Rødhella for sunbathing and swimming. Spend pleasant hours fishing in the fjord, salmon fishing in Berby River or pike fishing in Femsjøen in Tistedal. The area also offers great hiking opportunities and day trips to the climbing park "Climbing on the Border", trips with the steamship M/S Turisten, or to Northern Europe's highest locks on Brekke.

The house is located near the fortress Fredriksten, with its exciting history and "Allsang på Grensen". For excursions it is a short way from the cottage to Sweden.
