Welcome to the heart of the Corbières, halfway between the sea and the Cité de Carcassonne. This gîte, restored in the old village castle, will allow you to discover the beautiful Corbières wine region. The village is crossed by the river Orbieu, an ideal spot for swimmers in search of freshness or for fishermen (experienced or apprentice!). There are many places to visit nearby, such as Lagrasse, classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France, and its abbey, the Massif de l'Alaric or the Cathar castles of Termes and Villerouge-Termenès. With many breathtaking landscapes, the area is ideal for hikers and cyclists (green setting, mountains, canyons and gorges). On site at the gîte you will appreciate the access to the private terrace with garden furniture to enjoy the sun while resting. The parking is public on the castle square next to the gîte. Near the gîte, in an enclosed and entirely private garden, you will have access from April to October to your private swimming pool, heated to 28°C, to its changing room with toilets, its beach and its deckchairs with a beautiful view of the Corbières, to its balneo-jacuzzi area and its counter-current swimming. The gîte comprises on the ground floor: a living room with a pellet stove (pellets provided) opening onto the terrace, a lounge with TV, a fully equipped independent kitchen, a shower room with toilet. On the first floor: a bedroom with two 80cm beds, a bedroom with one 160cm bed, opening onto a private terrace with garden furniture, with bathroom and WC. On the second floor: A bathroom and a separate toilet. A bedroom with 1 bed in 160 and a bedroom with 2 beds in 90. The whole structure is air-conditioned (hot and cold).

The deposit is pre-authorised by credit card (not debited) and is collected 24 hours after the departure of the guests.
