At any time of year, the natural landscape offers ideal conditions for an adventure vacation.
To the north of the old town, with its many old half-timbered houses, is the spa park In der Helle, where you can play mini golf in summer and toboggan in winter. One of the highest and probably most famous mountains in the Sauerland rises in the Winterberg district: the Kahle Asten, where the Lenne has its source. The town center with its many restaurants can be reached on foot in around 20 minutes.
