Due to its proximity to Lake Plön and its very quiet forest and village edge location, our holiday home offers you the opportunity to start your bike tours and walks directly from the house. You can also conveniently store your own canoes or surfboards on the property. Lake Plön is only 5 minutes away, so you can also explore our beautiful landscape from the water. Back at the house, enjoy the peace and quiet on our partially natural property and make yourself comfortable on the 3 privacy-protected terraces, in the winter garden or in front of the fireplace. The living and dining rooms are separate so that everyone can pursue their interests undisturbed. The large fenced-in property also offers you the opportunity to play badminton, football, table tennis or Viking chess with the whole family or to relax in one of the hammocks or loungers with a book. Our house is on the edge of a very small village. Our village is characterized by very different houses, one directly neighboring house is from 1900 and has a reed roof, the other is a new building, but there is also space for Swedish houses, brick houses or very modern buildings with concrete facades. Our village center is framed by a paddock and a donkey pasture and is the turning point for our school bus. You won't find a historic church on a picturesque village square in our village, but it is incredibly quiet here. This tranquility is due to the fact that our village is only accessible by a 2 km long access road. The village is, so to speak, in a dead end and only the villagers and the residents of the neighboring village (approx. 20 houses) drive through our village. This means we don't have the usual through traffic. Some days you can almost hear the silence, provided our neighbors aren't working in the garden, because our village (around 30 houses) is characterized by its residents going about their work. Depending on the weather and work, our neighbors sometimes do louder work on weekends, Sundays and public holidays. By loud work I mean mowing the lawn, cutting wood with a chainsaw, trimming hedges, working with a leaf blower. Since everyone has larger properties, this work can sometimes take longer. The farmer also harvests his harvest regardless of the rest periods. I would like to tell you this so that you know that the absolute peace can sometimes be disturbed. The advantage of our property is that it is 1500 square meters and has many areas. If the neighbors are louder, just go to another area of ​​the garden. Otherwise, it is super quiet and relaxing in Sepel, which is what makes the location so special. There is a horse stable in the center of our village and donkeys graze in the pasture opposite. Our house is located on the edge of the village and yet is only a few steps away from the center of the village.

You can reach Lake Plön by walking past the horse stable (in the center of the village) along a small street. There is a public jetty where you can, for example, put your canoes in the water or enjoy the peace and quiet on the bench. The small road by the lake becomes a hiking trail and leads along a nature reserve to our neighboring village. There are 2-3 very small beaches along the way. A lot of geese nest in the bay, so swimming is unfortunately no longer recommended after the algae start to grow. Then you can take a bike ride to the neighboring village or through the forest to Stocksee to go swimming. You can enjoy a lot of nature and peace. You can find beautiful cafés and restaurants about 20 minutes away by car in Plön, for example at Plön Castle, as well as in the neighboring villages. In summer you can visit the Eutin Festival, Kiel Week or other festivals in the north.
