Don't let the name fool you, this eye-catching villa promises everything but hard times. What a view, what a property, what a pool! The spacious and comfortable Can Duro passes all tests with flying colours: from easy access to the Sierra de Tramuntana to the private sea with sun terrace to picnic and play areas on the palm-covered, 3,000 m² plot. You can sunbathe or seek shade on the terraces, in the garden and by the pool; savour Mallorcan delicacies and wine at the long table until late at night. Listen to music without fear of disturbing the neighbours; take a short trip to Binissalem or Sencelles and have an espresso in the plaza or stock up in one of the bodegas. And since a travelling party of ten or twelve people naturally doesn't always want to be under each other's feet 24 hours a day, the house offers more than enough space for everyone to go their own way ...

When designing the villa, great emphasis was placed on design, comfort and spaciousness. Glass, wood and natural stone combine traditional rustic elements with more decorative elements. Elongated window fronts let in plenty of light and bring the greenery of the garden into the house. The open-plan design facilitates social interaction, creating an airy sense of community through the entrance area, a large living room with sofas and TV/fireplace corner, the high-tech kitchen and two dining areas. This makes it easier for both smaller and larger groups to come together. The washing machine and tumble dryer are housed separately. Four cosily furnished bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor, have a mini-suite character: XL double beds (1.80 or 2 m wide), modern en-suite bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes ensure maximum comfort. There is also a shared bathroom on the ground floor and an outdoor bathroom near the pool. Via a glass extension, two interconnecting rooms provide space to function as a family room for three or four gym bunnies. You can opt for a privacy screen and behind the stairs, the sliding glass door gives you the personal space and privacy you desire.

If you follow the MA-13 across the island, you will pass Palma and after about 25 kilometres you will inevitably reach the wine-rich region of Mallorca. Open fields, vineyards, olive groves and almond trees characterise the landscape and the Tramuntana mountains rise up nearby. In Binissalem, you can still visit the old wine cellars today: Hereus de Ribas in the small municipality of Consell is home to one of the most traditional wineries in Mallorca. Spend some time in one of the quiet street cafés in Lloseta and let yourself be tempted by the extremely popular weekly market in Santa Maria del Camí. When it comes to culinary experiences, spoil yourself with trips to top-rated restaurants such as Santi Taura or Es Rústic, and the rustic ambience can still be felt in the legendary Es Verger. If you want to explore the capital and its beaches, but also enjoy hiking or cycling through the countryside, then Can Duro is the place for you. The ruins of the old castle in Alaró, 825 metres high, and the sanctuary of Lluc are two of the most popular local destinations for hikers. In the middle of the wine-growing region and in a completely secluded location, this flagship villa for 12 people extends over 30,000 m² just 30 km from Palma and 4 km from Binissalem. Tramuntana hikers, cyclists and wine lovers will feel right at home at Can Duro. The surrounding village has everything you need and the shopping town of Inca is just 10 minutes away by car. For a day at the seaside, we recommend the beaches of the capital and Badia d'Alcúdia.
