Situation
The house
Can Pessal is situated in the south-east part of Mallorca in the attractive countryside near the small village of Es Carritxo; here nothing will disturb your tranquillity The inner town of Felanitx is within 10 minutes drive away; here you will find local shops, restaurants, cafeterias, well know hand made pottery and a bustling market which takes place every Sunday morning. The tourist Cala D'Or with sandy coves, a never ending choice of restaurants and the impressive international yacht harbour is 10 minutes drive away. In Cala D'or you can also practice water sports or enjoy an excursion by boat to discover the pretty south-east coast of Majorca
Near the pool there is an annex with a double bedroom and an en-suite shower room. From the bed through this big panoramic window you can enjoy superb country views. In this annex but with a different entrance there is the utility room with washing machine and also a toilette close to the pool. In the living room and the landing on the first floor there is air con with fixed timetable from 9pm to 9am. Air con as well in the external bed room. Outdoor Old pinewood provides a nice shade to the barbecue area and terrace; which invites you to enjoy lovely “al fresco” meals. The pool (7m x 4m. Deph. Min. 1.20 m. Max. 1.8m.) with Roman steps enjoys gorgeous country views. Close to the pool there is a lovely and well kept fruit garden. Mediterranean plants give a nice atmosphere to the exterior of the house. Wonderful views from everywhere. There is also a volley court that invites you to practice sport. Enclosed in the price are bed linen, towels for the house, tea towels, the final cleaning and other costs (electricity, water, gas). The first cot and highchair are included in the price.
This old farmhouse has been brand-new refurnished and converted in a charming holiday domicile. The result is a tasteful combination of original features and modern design. The ground floor boasts a dining area with an interesting combination old and modern, from the dining area there is direct access to the compact and well equipped kitchen. Passing through the dining there is a spacious lounge with comfortable sofas, a wood stove and a great panoramic window with wonderful country views. There is also a twin bedroom and a small shower-room. From the dining the original old stair leads us to the first floor with a single bedroom, a twin and a double bedroom. These bedrooms share a modern shower room closed with a blue structure which gives an original atmosphere to this floor. There is also a sun terrace with great views.
