Stone country house with a private garden, in a convenient location for getting to the sea and art cities

The enchanting stone country house is in an isolated location, surrounded by the tranquillity of green meadows and chestnut forests. It is a short distance from the sea at Versilia and is near the art cities Pietrasanta, Lucca, Pisa and Florence.

The house is detached, flooded with light and sheltered by the surrounding fruit and chestnut trees. On the ground floor you can find a living room with a fireplace, a sofa bed for one person and satellite TV, as well as a kitchen-diner with a dining table and equipped with a kettle, a four-ring stove, an electric oven, a dishwasher and a fridge-freezer. Characteristic wooden stairs lead to the upper floor, where there is a bedroom with a double and a single bed (160 x 190cm, 80 x 190cm), bedside tables, a chestnut wood wardrobe, a pellets stove, and a cupboard containing a fridge, a coffee maker and a kettle. It provides access to a bathroom with a shower, bidet and WC, via an entrance area with a washbasin. The house is equipped with a washing machine, ironing equipment and a vacuum cleaner.

The garden (not fenced) has a dining table, so you can enjoy meals outdoors. Here there are also chairs, deckchairs, a parasol and a barbecue. Especially in the evening you can sit here and enjoy the breathtaking panorama and the view of the sea. In a little stone house there is a wood-burning oven (wood is provided) where you can bake pizza (utensils are provided) or grill meat or vegetables.

The house is accessed via a steep road, but which is navigable carefully with any car. The last 100 metres of the road are not asphalted, but smooth. The road ends behind the house. A cot can be provided free of charge on request.

It is 25 minutes by car to the sea at Versilia, 10 minutes to the Isola Santa lake (for anglers), 5 minutes to the Antro del Corchia grottoes, and you can also visit the art cities Pietrasanta (25 minutes), Lucca (60 minutes), Pisa (60 minutes) and Florence (90 minutes). The most beautiful areas of landscape of the Apuan Alps invite you to go on trips into the mountains and are very nearby. Restaurants with local cuisine are just a few minutes’ drive away. There are shops and services in Terrinca (3km).

    “Die Ausstattung ließ bis auf ein fehlendes Schneidebrett und Kochlöffel für uns keine Wünsche übrig. Die Küche und vor allem das Bad vom Studio waren wunderschön. Die Schlafzimmer waren toll eingerichtet mit z. T. Holzboden, Massivholzmöbeln und bequemen Matrazen. Der Garten war groß mit Gartenmöbeln. Den Pizzaofen und Grill haben wir häufig genutzt. Die Pizzen gelangen wunderbar. Alles war sauber und gut intakt. Die Lage des Hauses war traumhaft: oft konnten wir das Meer sehen. Die Zufahrt war zunächst abenteuerlich, aber wir gewöhnten uns daran, dass es schmal und steil war. Die Aussicht auf Berge und Meer war atemberaubend schön. Die Ruhe und Kühle genossen wir nach der Hitze und dem Lärm der Städte sehr. Doch uns war das Haus zu abgelegen. Das Haus war den Preis absolut wert. Der Hausbesitzer hat uns bei der Ankunft umfassend informiert und war jederzeit erreichbar.”

    “Wir haben in einem sehr schönen, sauberen Haus wunderbare Ferien verlebt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die ruhige Lage, der tolle Pizzaofen, der gepflegte Garten sowie die geschmackvolle Ausstattung des Hauses, aber vor allem die Gastfreundlichkeit unseres Vermieters Luca. Er empfing uns mit einer Flasche Rotwein, war zur Stelle als wir mit dem Auto eine Panne hatten und als der Strom nach einem Gewitter ausfiel.
    Jederzeit können wir das Haus empfehlen, einzig die Zufahrt ist nur für geübte Fahrer geeignet.”
