Cosy holiday apartment on the upper floor of an old farmhouse


The house (built in 1907) is on a very big site at the end of a cul-de-sac in the extensive East Frisian marsh landscape. It enjoys a very quiet residential location. You can find peace and quiet here. It is 12km to the beach and to the regional town of Wittmund. There are many shopping facilities in both directions. The nearest swimming pool and outdoor pool are in the spa town of Carolinensiel/Harlesiel 12km away. There is also an outdoor pool in Wittmund.

The 70m² holiday apartment can accommodate up to five people and comprises a kitchen with a stove with four rings and an oven, a coffee machine, a kettle, a microwave, toaster, fridge with freezer compartment, hand mixer, and all the necessary appliances and tableware for preparing meals and dining. Table linen, towels, washing up liquid are provided. The living room has two sofas (a two-seater and a three-seater), satellite TV, a radio and a telephone. There is a bedroom with two beds and a child’s bed on the first floor. There is a second bedroom on the second floor (up stairs from the kitchen) with three single beds. The beds each measure 90 x 200cm. The bathroom is fitted with a shower with a deep shower tray, a WC and a washbasin. Toilet paper is provided. There is also a little hallway with a wardrobe. The apartment is self-contained.

A changing table and highchair can be provided.

A large lawn area provides ample space for children to play. Plenty of garden furniture and seating are provided. There is a parking area for cars. There is space to store bicycles.

    “Preiswerte Ferienwohnung, die Gastgeber sind freundlich und kümmern sich sehr um das Wohl der Bewohner.

    Die Küche bietet Zusatzgeräte, wie z.B. Toaster und Eierkocher.
    Im Bad kann man kleine Kinder auch baden (es ist eine tiefe Dusche vorhanden, die als Wanne dienten kann). Die Wiese draußen auf dem Hof ist riesig und lädt zu Fußball und Frisbee ein.
    5 Sterne von uns, einer Familie mit 3 kleinen Kindern.”

    “Die Ausstattung ist mehr als ausreichend für einen Urlaub, es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Lage ist perfekt, sehr ruhig und abgeschieden (Entspannung pur). Trotzdem ist es sehr zentral gelegen. Die Ausstattung ist teilweise Antik und liebevoll gepflegt (wie in Großmutters Zeiten, traumhaft schön). Es ist sehr sauber und ordentlich und die Vermieter sind sehr liebe Menschen. Zum Empfang stand sogar Apfelsaft für die Kinder und Sekt bereit. Preisleistung ist mehr als super! Wir hatten dort einen wunderschönen Urlaub.”

    “Die Ferienwohnung war sehr sauber und ordentlich und die Lage wunderschön. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich gewesen und bleiben uns in sehr guter Erinnerung. Die Inneneinrichtung könnte mal wieder modernisiert werden. Jedoch ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis mit einem gut zu bewerten.”
